She owns and runs a boarding kennel on her property near Aldinga Beach. Recently she has built a new office alongside the kennels and required access to her existing data network for day-to-day operations of her business. No worries – the only catch is the office & kennels are located some 300 metres away from her existing network! That is too great of a distance for traditional Cat 6 data cable, and costly trenches and fibre optic networks were out of the question.
The solution was a point to point wireless ethernet bridge. These small but powerful units operate around 5Ghz powered by PoE and are capable of high speed data transfer over large distances, even up to 25kms!
This happy customer can now run her business easily and efficiently from her office without having to drive back to the house every time she needs to use the computer.
