Australian Made Week: 15th May to 21st May

This week is Australian Made Week, which is an annual event that celebrates and promotes Australian made products. This is an important week because it provides a platform for businesses to promote their products and connect with consumers. It also helps to increase sales and raise awareness, as well as highlighting the benefits of buying locally made products, and ensuring high quality and safety standards.

But Why Purchase Australian Made Products?

When you buy Australian made products, you are supporting businesses and helping boost the Australian economy. This can create jobs and increase economic growth, which benefits everyone in the community. You can also be assured when buying Australian made products that you are buying high quality products that are safe to use.

At Jim’s Antennas we are proud to have partnered with two ‘Australian own and made’ companies, Matchmaster and Hills by Bitek Pty Ltd.

Matchmaster

For over 83 years, Matchmaster produces a range of high-quality products, including antennas, cables, connectors that are manufactured in Australia. Whilst some of their products are sourced overseas, they have a strong commitment to supporting Australian manufacturing and jobs, and they actively seek out local suppliers and manufacturers wherever possible.

Hills by Bitek

The Hills brand of television antennas was started in 1956 and quickly became a mainstay of the industry in Australia. With more than 63 years of experience, Hills Antenna is a trusted brand leader for antenna products. In 2019, the antenna division of Hills was acquired by Bitek Pty Ltd, another leader in the Industry, with over 20 years of experience manufacturing and distributing antenna and communications equipment.

Antenna Installation

If your existing antenna needs replacing we recommend the experts at Jim’s Antennas to supply and install it for you using either Matchmaster or Bitek Pty Ltd Australian Made Antennas to provide premium digital TV antennas for both UHF and VHF applications that come with a manufacturer’s lifetime guarantee.

Jim’s Antennas will also ensure that the antenna functions properly even if there’s heavy rain or storms – so that you are not devoid of crystal clear reception at any point in time. Line of sight to your nearest transmission tower is an important factor in choosing how and where the antenna is located on your roof as it often happens that if located further away or obstructed from the nearest TV transmitter, reception problems crop up.
