Another update has been released regarding the Mount Alexander (Bendigo) TV transmission site, which has been severely impacted by recent events. According to the ABC, this outage is affecting an estimated 356,000 viewers, and repairs are expected to take many months to fully restore.
This means many households across central and northern Victoria may continue to experience loss of TV reception or unstable signals for the foreseeable future.
While the Mount Alexander transmitter remains offline, there is some positive news. A large number of affected properties may be located in overlap reception areas, where signals from other transmission towers could potentially be received.
Depending on your exact location, you may be able to redirect your antenna to one of the following transmitters that are currently operating:

Re-pointing your antenna to one of these transmitters could restore access to Free-To-Air TV services while repairs continue at Mount Alexander.
You can get an indication of which transmitters may be reachable from your property by using the national coverage tool.
Step 1. – Go to TVMAP.AU and enter your reception address.

Step 2.- From the dropdown menu see available transmitters. Murray Valley, Goulburn Valley and Ballarat transmitters are online and not affected by the outage.

Although it may be tempting to adjust your antenna on your own, this is NOT recommended.
A licensed antenna technician can safely determine whether an alternative transmitter will work at your property and set your system up correctly the first time.
