What NBN Speed Should I Get?

Choosing the right NBN speed depends on the number of people in your household using the internet and the types of online activities you do — whether it’s streaming, working from home, gaming, or just browsing.

Common Speed Tiers

NBN 25

Best for singles or couples. Great for basic browsing, email, and SD streaming.

NBN 50

Ideal for small families. Handles HD streaming, Zoom calls, and casual gaming.

NBN 100

Perfect for larger households or remote workers. Great for 4K streaming and big uploads.

NBN 250 / 1000

Suits tech-heavy homes or businesses. Requires FTTP or some HFC connections.

Connection Type Matters

Your actual speed also depends on the NBN technology at your property (FTTP, HFC, FTTN, etc.) Not sure what you’ve got? That’s where we come in.
