Why Is My TV Not Picking Up Antenna Signals?

There are many reasons why your TV may not be picking up antenna signals, but before contacting an expert, consider the following:

  • Ensure your TV and power cables are connected to the wall sockets as well as the TV
  • Try and perform an auto or manual scan for TV Channels (refer back to your TV’s owner manual)
  • If you do have an amplifier in your system ensure the power supply is plugged in and turned on

If these are not the issue, you may be needing a new antenna and/or cabling, terminations, filters and splitters installed. Your antenna does have an expiration date, which can be fast tracked by storms, salt water causing erosion/rusting or birds who have chewed and destroyed antenna and cabling.

Our Franchisees carry state of the art Digital TV Signal Meters which allows them to determine where the issue is occurring within your Antenna System.
