WE CAN INSTALL YOUR MOBILE PHONE REPEATER!
David from Jim’s Antennas Horsham was recently asked to install a mobile phone repeater in Diapur. Diapur is a very small town off the Highway between Nhill and Kaniva. The customer had already acquired two other quotes, with one of the quotes referring to the install as a challenge. So, the customer bought a mobile phone repeater from a retail store and strapped the antenna to the air conditioner and it worked.
Whilst talking to the customer over the phone about installing a repeater, David knew that the area could be a little tricky and explained to the customer that their phone reception was poor with all the trees and that they were in a valley. The customer asked if it could be done, and David said YES.
A new mount and antenna was installed aligned to the Nhill Transmitter and the RG8 Low Loss Cable was neatly installed inside the wall cavity. This new install is a more secure way of installing an antenna rather than on a broomstick and a bit of bailing twine. (You have to see to believe!)
