Luke from Jim’s Antennas Shepparton had a customer this week that had an antenna mount that had bent over time due to an additional pole that was attached to the existing fascia mount. With the antenna installed at the top of the additional pole and with no stay bars attached to the mount, over time, windy weather has caused the mount to bend over to the point where it would eventually break causing damage to the roof or the nearby solar panels. As the existing antenna and amplifier where digital ones and were still operating properly, the existing mount was removed and a new uni-mount was installed. The antenna and amplifier were installed on the new mount on the back of the roof well away from the solar panels.
