Jims Antennas Hervey Bay Helps With Lightning Detection

Jim’s Antennas Hervey Bay and Maryborough have been involved in the installation of lightning detection in the Wide Bay Region.

GPATS Australia contacted Jims Antennas for installation of there equipment within the Wide Bay Region.

The equipment is very sophisticated and it is very important that the there is minimum electromagnetic interference within the area of installation. This equipment will be used by the Bureau and meteorologists to predict weather events throughout the region and provide accurate lighting detection 24hrs a day.

These systems are used all of the Globe to assist with weather data and help predict major and minor isolated weather events.
