Whether it was due to a storm or just a gush wind, if your mast (20ft or 50ft – it doesn’t matter) has broken, it’s important that you call the experts to have it dismantled and removed. At Jim’s Antennas not only will we remove your existing mast, but we can also install and mount a new one, including an antenna if need be.
Steve from Jim’s Antennas Heathmont recently had a customer call for help, as the wires on their 50ft mast had snapped. They were desperate for Steve to dismantle the entire pole and remove it from the roof, as it had broken during recent storms. The mast was hanging over the customer and their neighbours’ property, which had everyone worried, due to potential damage to cars, property or people.
The top set of wires had snapped during the violent storm. Luckily the bottom three set of wires were still able to withstand the pressure, otherwise this could have been a far more dangerous situation. In the pics below you can see just how bent over the mast was. Although it’s hard to see, the new mast has been safely and securely erected for the customer, who is now very happy.
If your mast is broken or you are worried that it could be a danger, call 131 546 or book here, to arrange your free onsite quote with your local expert as soon as you can.
