Xpol MiMo 5G Antenna Installation for Existing Telstra 5G Modem
Jem from Jim’s Antennas Daisy Hill recently assisted a customer who was running a business from home and required better internet for both their personal and business 5G modems.
Once arriving onsite, Jem identified that their slow internet speed was due to the modems not receiving enough signal on higher frequencies/bands. After consulting with Powertec, Jem decided to supply and install two Poynting Xpol MiMo 5G ready antennas, one for each modem, to allow the 5G modems to run on the 5G 3600 Mhz frequency. Once the installation was complete, amazing speeds of up to 558mbps were achieved. The customer now had a very strong, stable and reliable 5G signal for both their personal and business modems and no longer experienced connectivity issues.
