THE BEST WALL FOR TV MOUNTING.

Have you recently bought a TV and are you considering mounting it to the wall? There are so many benefits to TV wall mounting. For starters it can truly open up the room and create a larger sense of space. It can bring a stylish and modern look to the room and the most important benefit of all is that it is the safest option. If you have a household of children or pets, TV wall mounting can help prevent your child or fur baby from tipping the TV over, bumping or running into it.

But before you try to do it yourself we recommend that you call a professional.  Wall Mounting a TV can go horribly wrong in inexperienced hands, resulting in damage to your walls, to the new TV, possibly damages to electrical cables and often people!

One of the key factors to consider before mounting a TV to the wall is your actual wall. What is your wall made of – Is it double brick/cement or single brick or something else? This will impact the choice of bracket and how the cables can be concealed. Where and how to mount the TV is important to ensure there is enough strength to hold the bracket plus TV; and avoid it dangerously falling to the floor.

Brett from Jim’s Antennas in Mickleham installed and mounted a 75” TV onto a double brick wall. The customer required the TV to be wall mounted but also wanted 2 x HDMI cables concealed in the wall cavity. Although the job was very difficult due to the small cavity between the brick walls, Brett managed to conceal the HDMI leads and neatly put a wall plate at the bottom with the 2 x HDMI inputs for the customer to use.
