Repairing Guyed Masts: Strong Wind and Storm Damage

Get your guyed mast checked!

With the strong winds around recently it a timely reminder to get your guyed mast checked.
Brett from Jim’s Antennas Mickleham responded to this customer and had to replace the entire antenna system when the 30 ft mast came down in strong winds recently.

The guyed wires were rusted, and snapped in the recent strong winds. Luckily this customer has a colorbond roof, as there would have been more damage on a tiled roof.

Unfortunately for this customer, they had recently sold the property and had to pay for a new mast and antenna before hand over of the property.
The cost of checking and replacing guy wires costs much less than having to replace an entire antenna system.

All Jim’s Antennas technicians are proficient at installing and repairing guyed mast systems.
