Tasmanian Based Antenna Technicians: We Need Your Help To Meet Our Clients Needs

Jim’s Antennas Tasmania needs growth to meet the increasing demands of our clients. As one of Australia’s most iconic franchise brands, Jim’s Antennas is quite often the only choice for customers when it comes to their digital antenna and home entertainment needs.

If you need evidence to support this belief, we had over 50,000 leads allocated to our franchisees nationally in the last financial year. Attracting work is not the problem we face. The problem we face is servicing every enquiry. Sadly we had to turn away 6,550 clients that we didn’t have time to help!

As mentioned above, Tasmania is one such location where we desperately need more man power. With a very experienced franchisor representing the area, it’s an opportune time to join the team and grow the brand in the Apple Isle.

Shane Doyle has recently taken charge of the Tasmanian region, and he brings with him a wealth of experience, including time as a franchisee as well as management of the two largest regions, Victoria and New South Wales. Shane states: “I’m excited to take the reins in Tasmania and I have great plans for the region. At this stage we have one franchisee based in Kingston, Hobart. I truly believe we can sustain further franchisees in Hobart as well as Launceston, Devonport and most areas in between”.

The Kingston based franchisee, Grant Diers, has built up a strong referral network and doesn’t rely heavily on the Jim’s lead allocation system. Shane says:
“Grant’s a well-established and respected technician who is very self-sufficient. He understands that growth is essential. We know from other regions that more vans on the road increases brand awareness and impacts significantly on lead generation”.

Shane is keen to hear from established technicians located throughout Tasmania who believe in the power of branding and are seeking to take their business to the next level. Shane notes, “We have several franchisees in other regions that crossed over after running their own independent antenna business. They love the feeling of belonging to a group and benefits such as group buying power. That’s not to mention the wealth of knowledge within the group and the annual national conference, held this year in Bali”.

Shane is also interested in hearing from people without any industry knowledge, with the majority of franchisees joining without any previous experience. Jim’s Antennas has franchisees from all walks of life, including police officers, bus drivers and bakers.

Shane concludes: “Our training is first class and ensures that those without any background in the industry are able to hit the ground running. The support continues after the initial training period and will continue for the life of the franchise”.
